It is true, Verona and its surroundings is getting more and more attractive for couples from all around the world who are seeking the special place to crown their dream of love.

Increasing are the requests that my Verona-based collogues and I receive, and also collogues that even when based in other areas, still have future spouses that wish to get married in Verona.

Getting married in Verona, a dream for both Italians and foreigners

For the couples who decide the get married with a religious ceremony, the most popular churches are, in the town center the Basilica di Sant’Anastasia, and outside town is the Pieve di San Giorgio Ingannapoltron. While instead, for the couples that wish to have a civil ceremony, in addition to all the beautiful places given by the municipality, there are also wonderful villas that can now host the civil ceremony, allowing to have the ceremony and the reception all in the same site.

The attraction that many couples see in Verona, besides the undeniable charm of being the city of Love, is that it gives you the option for many activities that you could offer to your guests. The amazing shows in the Arena, the visits and tastings in many wine cellars, or the beautiful Garda lake and all it can offer, and the list goes on.

Having the city of Love as your frame: from the engagement to the wedding day
There are couples that get engaged in our romantic city and then choose it for the day of the “I do”. As Livia and Nicolas did, Swiss couple, that decided to get married in the church of Santi Apostoli and to have the reception in Palazzo Verità Poeta. Among my couples we can also find Jasmin and Julian, German couple. He proposed on Valentine’s Day and after a couple of days they contacted me as they wished to get married in of the Verona’s villas.

Or as the American couple, Alessandra and José Antonio. He did the Erasmus in Verona and fell in love with the city, so they chose Villa Arvedi to crown their dream of love. And Frank and Corentine, French couple that lives in Hong Kong, or Andrea e Clare from Australia that came to get married in Villa Sigurtà.

There are many more stories that I could tell you, proving that Verona truly is the city of Love…
